North Point Pffft ...

... on a day when one of the best waves in Australia, if not the World was 6-8ft and firing, spare a thought for those of us that have to commit to the 9-5 up here in Perth and only manage to squeeze in a quick surf at one of the worst waves in Australia, if not the World!
We give her a lot of shit, but we love her to death! Thank you Trigg! Damon Hayes, Mick Jardine and Lee Devereux featured below!

Winter Frustration...

... is felt by all when there's swell, but no banks! Despite the early morning cold a few braved the bite of the winter chill at Trigg over the weekend!

What's The Point...

Every time this place gets good, it's crowded beyond belief, which begs the question, what's the point? So many good waves go either unridden or incomplete, simply because of the amount of twits who have no idea polluting the lineup. Thankfully there are a handful who know what they are doing as highlighted below.

Point Perfect...

Finally, after all the hype, talk and praying, it has happened. Trigg Point produced what were possibly the best waves seen there for over a decade! Some of the locals even claiming it as "best point ever". Unfortunately I didn't get to spend the whole day shooting it, but I did get the oppurtunity to sneak in a few hours in the water before work and some shots late in the arvo. The usuals, were dominating and are pictured below.

Welcome to Trigg Point...

Trigg Point is officially the most dangerous wave in the world! You cringe at the thought of the Hawaiian's who "regulate" their lineups and how barbaric they must be, it only takes you 5 mins of watching the mayhem here to understand why they do what they do! Those that are inexperienced and don't have the ability to ride a 3ft waves should not be out there, that would take at least 80% of the crowd away! Some of the experienced are pictured below.
