Pedro Linguisi......

... is loved by all. His mates love him, the ladies love him, I love him and he's just an all round top bloke. During a backyard cricket game I witnessed him square cut a tennis ball at full steam straight into Alex Turoy's unsuspecting face. I figure maybe Turoy is the only person who may not think as highly of Pedro as I do!

Crazy Nick...

This is one of my favourite sequences from the Crazy John's session earlier this year. I had to hold out from showing this to you until the latest issue of Riptide was released.
The most amazing thing about these images are the fact that you don't really get the full sense on how heavy this wave was, until you take a good look at the ridiculous thickness of the lip in the last frame!
Nick had a good solid crack at this wave, especially since he had never surfed it before, and it paid dividends!

... should've been good, but it wasn't really or should I say it really wasn't!

... has to be the most beautifully dangerous wave I have ever seen. It lures you in with it's crystal clear waters and promise of the ride of your life, then before you know it, you're wondering if paddling for this wave was such a good idea after all.
